I enjoy tinkering with film cameras, especially toy/plastic cameras. I came across these generic re-usable cameras and decided to add a multiple exposure (MX) switch. I played around for a while, then gave a few out to friends and family. They went down pretty well. So I decided to sell a few online, and much to my surprise they all sold out in the first day! So started the Double Dip...
The basic camera is a simple one-button affair, with a fixed focus 35mm plastic lens. It produces a pronounced vignette, with a blurry edge but sharp centre. It's like a Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim, only more chunky in design and less wide in lens.
Here's some test shots, there are more elsewhere on this blog and at the Double Dip flickr group
As each one is modified by hand, by me, I'm selling them in small batches. As you can see from the price I'm not hoping to make a fortune, just to make some much needed film-money. I'm selling via eBay (click the link at the top of the page) just to make things easier.
